i'm looking for a good shopping cart, ideally php/mysql. it'll need
to handle up to 10,000 products. can php/mysql handle that? the main
thing is that the scripts and database can handle the number of
products. there will be about ten categories with about 1000 products
in each.

it doesn't matter what the credit card payment parts do as we have
that under control.

i'm no stranger to e-commerce and shopping carts but have only used
ASP/Access/SQL server on windows servers for bigger sites or Perl for
smaller sites. it's time to look at the PHP/MySQL combination to see
what that can do.

so far i've found phpmyshop and eztrade. any others? it would be helpful if it was also spider friendly! if all else
fails i can switch to actinic.
