_I_ still can't work out why I can go to YouTube and bring up complete, commercial-free episodes of TV shows that first aired last week. Not complaining, mind you, just asking.
1 billion, hm. That means that in the course of a month, something like one seventh of the population of the planet* watches at least one item on YouTube. That really doesn't sound too implausible.
* I lost count after 5 billion. It's like moons: You memorize a number in primary school and hold onto it for the rest of your life. What do you mean, Jupiter and Saturn no longer have 12 and 9 moons respectively?
Far as I remember, the 5 billionth person was born a few times in 1987 and one last time in 1988.
