Luddites making link bait, gotta love it.
It's amusing to watch people act like the primates throwing bones at the obelisk on 2001 A Space Odyssey.
There were similar reactions to my first computer back in the late 70s as all the superstitious in my small town looked at it like it was some alien invasion starting to happen.
I will own Google Glasses, I will wear them everywhere if they are useful, and if I'm turned away I'll just go elsewhere as my green money will overcome objections. I might even break my personal ban on purchasing overpriced (yuppie priced) Apple products if the rumored Apple Watch is as cool as I suspect it will be an something tells me it'll have a camera too or you won't be able to Skype (or whatever Apple does) on your Apple Watch. Think they'll ban those too or will Apple Watches be too cool to ban?
Funny, people allow cell phones with cameras everywhere and masses of people wear blue tooth headsets that can record everything being said but suddenly someone draws the line and the ultimate personal internet access device.
Next thing you know people will tell you to leave your cell phones, tablets and laptops in your car because they don't want all your radiation spewed all over the place.
Then people will ban self-driving Google cars in drive-thrus, gas stations and parking lots.
FWIW, I've always been a very early adapter and I'm about to have cataract surgery and I'm personally disappointed that the permanent contact lens displays being developed aren't available yet because being on of the first cyborgs would certainly rock :)
