OT @indyank ... i was just pointing out that google got so big because they were the best and i don't think if you could have seen into the future anyone would have stopped it, it was inevitable that whoever 'won' search would cash in big time.

personally i really worry about facebook - for so many people it is the internet and increasingly i can't even follow a link someone posts without being filtered through an app of some kind - which i won't sign up for so don't get to read much!

i agree with what JAB Creations said above and ultimately any of the heavyweights will act against our personal ability to make profits, because they want the money for themselves.... there are no exceptions.
