By keeping referral data from webmasters by trying to rewrite HTTP and forcing us to use Google Webmaster Tools he is in effect closing off the web. Telling webmasters to use Google webmaster tools doesn't cut it, none of this should be occurring in the first place because they can directly manipulate what terms do and do not show up in their webmaster tools. Those forces include those same political elements that have infiltrated or outright control Google along with Apple, Facecrook and Microsoft are the biggest corporate threats to the internet along with the political forces that have infiltrated browser vendors (especially Mozilla) and operating system vendors (most especially Microsoft) and have been working to make user interfaces as difficult to use as possible for the common person.
