If I may, two other things. Google is just an ad search engine now. If you check out p://i43.tinypic.com/ftdnb6.jpg and [i43.tinypic.com...] you can see that in both the US and the world vertical pixel resolutions ~700 to ~900 still make up over 50% of the internet. And I did a search recently, on a 1024 X 768 screen (still the most popular in the US, Google's biggest market). There was 1 (one) organic result displayed upon first doing a search (in firefox). Now throw in a few toolbars (i.e. Google Toolbar) etc. And your looking at no organic results on the average persons computer with the new vertical ad format. Now factor in a Panda penalty pushing your site to page five (which is no mistake).

As far as alternatives to Adsense, consider if your getting the majority of your traffic from an ad search engine and your not returning any money to the system. All I can say is hope that you don't eventually get caught by a manual reviewer (I think it would be interesting to see if there is any funny business going on there). I guess I'll assume the best from a company that vows to play by the rules and does no evil...

Again as history shows, ad search engines don't last long.
