Who uploads the files to the cloud? Does the uploader have adequate security to avoid their computer being taken over?

Doesn't matter if it's G doing the uploading or Dodgy Fred, somewhere along the line there WILL be a security breach and visitors will become compromised through it.

Also depends on the class of file - music, ebook etc. Most of the tools used to read files have been exploited at some time in the recent past and doubtless will be again. So: upload a virus disguised as an mpg and compromise (eg) android - both easily enough done: G has plenty of virused apps in its store, even after it's boasted cleanup.

I'm perhaps being a little unfair to the Cloud mechanism per se: the same scenario can be effected on other large-scale servers but I think Cloud will make it more attractive to hackers.
