I actually think this is one area google can do very well in if they execute well. They have the largest advertising client base in the world. Add this offer feature to Adwords and away they go.

Groupon sends us an email a day. Google will be showing deals in SERPS everytime you search. They can really make a killing if they get it setup and scaled properly.
