This is simply another attempt to secure access to an infinite amount of data. But at least both Google and the CIA admit their intent. When Google teamed up with the NSA [wired.com ] it was done under the guise of "securing the network." Yes--part of it is securing the net--and you can probably guess what the other part is.
It's actually kind of funny when Matt Cutts reported this on his blog a few years ago [mattcutts.com ]. Even then, Google and the CIA were probably talking.
"If Google can do that, imagine what the military can do."
If folks could only imagine.
