Google has every right to change their own website, however I wish they would give people more choices, especially when they make major changes to layout (as they also did with the SERPs after MayDay).

In the case of their News page, I'd like to be able to click the "Settings" link and have as an option "Display the Classic News Format". That cannot possibly be difficult for them, and does not use up any extra bandwidth. But it increasingly appears that in too many ways their attitude seems to be "our way or the highway", and more & more folks are chosing the highway.
