its funny to read these companies blog posts about being acquired. WE ARE THRILLED TO ANNOUCE blah blah blah. google just ate your company....its not cool.

Most companies hope for a quick buyout, don't kid yourself. Google itself hoped for a Yahoo buyout, even before they had a functioning site.
