Most of the allocations per my experience are informed mid-night to early morning hours. The IPO stock is not likely to start trading at the opening bell too. Usually they start trading around 2 PM EST (11 PST). I think in case of EBay, I believe that ETRADE informed me the allocation in the morning around 9 AM PST and the stock started trading at 11 AM PST.
Oh well - still no shares in my account...
