I hadn't really thought about their ability to screen for malicious ads. Interesting point, not sure it's a big problem at media, but maybe it is and I just didn't realize it. Thanks for mentioning it, something to look into.
Adsense still has the monopoly therefore in many niches will pay more due to advertiser competition. I think it's best to stick to the verticals media.net suggests, others may not have as many high paying advertisers.
On a side note, I did notice my adsense earnings going up the last few weeks since I dedicated some ad spaces to media.net. This has nothing to do with media.net, but rather illustrates that sometimes "less is more" when it comes to adsense. So instead of losing revenue, I actually gained revenue.
