Yes, we've had that issue many times, and it really just comes down to clear communication. We tell clients "Here's why we need tactical control over the account and what you get by giving us that." We also tell them what things they can and can't do on the account, which helps them feel in control.

It's a big issue, though, and sometime's the best you can do is keep track of everything so that if/when the client screws things up you can have a clear trail of who did what.
