We've seen a lot more traffic from Espotting, mainly from the smaller publishers, so I don't know if there has been some additional money thrown their way to turn up the volume to make the figures look not bad, but this will be a big loss, particularly if this extra doesn't convert (which it hasn't for the past few days).
This probably goes in the same arena as the congestion charge being launched when it was half term so the roads were bound to be quieter.
Frankly, it's not Espotting's revenue that is the important one, but that of it's advertisers, because without the advertisers there is no Espotting.
We can get lousy traffic in great volumes from a number of 2nd division PPC providers. I guess like the football season, there are play-offs about to take place and promotion and relegation are looming. It's a shame Espotting tried to qualify for Europe before securing it's safety in the domestic league.
Deefinately more scrutiny of tracking data is on the cards.
