Good post Suzy. I know this sounds crazy, but say IE7 fixes the way past versions of IE render CSS (I'm not holding my breath on that one). If we were using statements like...

...wouldn't that avoid some of the design breaks? I guess that's only assuming that IE7 would fix everything. Yikes!

More likely than not MS would only fix enough things forcing us to go back and explain to our past clients why their site looks like a pile of cow patties.

I'm packing my suitcase and turning my phone off now...
