So, which is the favoured method here, valid (x)HTML, or SEO'd pages?
We all know that google (at least) lends weight to h1 tags, and displaying them inline makes for better density while remaining pretty, by way of no disjointed text.
But we [should] also know that technically a header tag inside a block element is bad practice, which is the way most people use the combination for optimising.

I have my suspicions about which way a few of you will swing, but I'm intrigued none the less.
