I've considered that and looked at everything - but I'm probably missing something.
Does it cover the page content, or does it interrupt it? Apart from being in the wrong place, does it otherwise look as intended? ("Apart from that, Mrs Lincoln...")
My kind of humour. It does look as intended and it does not interrupt the page content. It is either behind or in front of the page content depending on what I've tried with the CSS.
Better post the footer css. And the relevant part of the html that calls it.
