Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback. Had a look at the other thread Philosopher and having a really good read, some great info to help me understand first how they work.

Appi2, thanks for looking at the code, yeah all this is generated in Spry from Dreamweaver. They add these things for numbties like me and they are even more complicated than a correct stripped down version.

I have recently just changed my whole constructing attitude from frames to CSS, that was brain numbing to start with, but I am getting there ;-)

This is the final hurdle for me at the moment and any help on a workable 2 level horizontal nav would be great.
