I agree it probably won't happen, at least not for a long long time.

I've been upgrading my webdev skills, so in addition to learning css, I'm also on a usability and design kick, and css as a protocol is not very usable (i.e. very hard to learn). Html can be laid out in different ways and has flexibility with smart constraints... but smart non programmers have learned it very quickly whereas css is very hard for programmers and designers to wrap themselves around. I'm sure there's a much better way to achieve the positive and important aspects of css without the bad parts... But anyway, I won't respond any more to that issue in this thread because it's straying too far off topic. My fault but css threads always tend to do that..
