I have a campaign that has been running fine for over a year. Without any pre-warning some of the keywords disappeared from SERP. First I thought it was just routine review but after a week the keywords were still kept frozen in my account. Then I decided to contact Google and got a reply saying that those keywords were suspended. Worst thing is one of them has been permanently suspended for not registering a single click during a certain period of time across the entire Adwords system. And Google decides that 'no one will be able to use that keyword to trigger ad anymore'. So end of the story for that keyword with Adwords. Period. It feels like the old keyword status algo which was heavily complained about in this forum is back again! Now Google has the choice to either raise the min bid for low traffic keywords, or simply suspend them, permanently if they like. And they don't tell you if your keywords are under review or have been suspended. Either way they're all marked 'Active' still. Brilliant! The result? Forget about the niche keyword or niche market thing. Just reach deeper in your pocket and spend like crazy your money!
If some of your keywords in your account suddenly disappear from Google search, you'd better contact Google for a reason. Don't just sit there and wait. Instead of your keywords being pulled down for review, it may be that they have been suspended (maybe permanently) for low traffic.
