I've set up a group of campaigns to run on the content network only. My "location and languages" under the Settings tab shows "Country: United States", "Languages English".
When I look at the automatic placements report for the last seven days, the majority of the websites where my content ads show are in central and east asia, on websites that have a non-latin character set.
Have I missed a targeting option somewhere? I have english, US based websites in my placement list as well, but they are greatly overshadowed by websites in Russia, Vietnam, China, etc.
Why, if I target the English language, would this happen?
