Impressions are up 2-3 times their normal across most of the accounts I manage. Overall clicks are down. Conversion rate is up a bit, but overall accounts are seeing lower conversions because of the decrease in clicks. No change to quality score in any of the accounts, yet.
One national campaign with 600 daily conversions now saw 450 yesterday.
My take is people are engaging more on Google with different search results before they click over to another site. Like they want to research all options before they HAVE TO click to another site and possibly waste time. It's also a new system so people may be in exploratory mode.
We will have to wait a good month or two after Google rolls out this new search interface to get a better idea of what to consistently expect.
