I don't think google has the right to do this. Google is so close to a monopoloy they need to conduct themselves on a higher level than other companies. They are using their position to enfore the rules for others but not themselves. If they truly do not like affiliate business than why to they run their own affiliate business with Google comparison ad's. type the word in for mortgage and you will see thier own affiliate program. Not only is this the same thing as an affiliate program but look at how they give themselves and advantage over other advertisers. I'm sure they don't have to worry about click through rate and quality score too.
