The only problem is Google has a monopoly on search for the time being. So that means adwords can drive a lot of traffic to a site. Sure, that is going to eventually change, but for now itís part of life.
Having been an Adwords advertiser since 2003 and suddenly out of nowhere Google decides to ban my account because I had some affiliate links on some of my domains, then tells me to correct the problem with domains and ads that no longer exist is the part I take issue with.
Iím in business to make money just like Google is. You would think that would be a good relationship but they have decided they donítí want me. OK, I get it but do I care? NopeÖÖ
Iím going to game the crap out of Google as much as can and there is not a thing they can do about it. There is no law that says I canít and as far as Googleís stupid rules, well they all know what they can do with them.
I also realize there are people who worship at the altar of Google daily, and I actually used to be one. But, your day will come when for some unknown reason you find yourself in a similar situation. I used to say it wouldnít happen to me too, so donít think it canít. Fortunately for you, by then Google probably wonít have such a monopoly on the search.
There are very few people on this board that I would take advice from and none of the ones supporting Google in this thread are on that list.
The original poster asked a specific question about something and did not ask for a bunch of Google slaves to jump in and spew their garbage about whatís right or wrong so go start your own thread about how much you love Google and how they will always cherish you and treat you fairly. We get it, you love Google but go tell someone who cares.
