Well you already did one thing - you attempted to game them by creating another account in someone else's name. There are all kinds of footprints they can use to figure this out.

At any rate, don't take it personally; they don't *have* to do business with you if they don't want to (and you don't have to do business with them either) just find another way to drive traffic.
