One thing you could try to confirm whether or not it is related to memory is to temporarily pause all but 1 campaign in the old interface, make sure you have it set to show only active campaigns and then switch to the beta interface to see if it enables the page to fully load. If it loads, then it is likely this is a memory issue and hopefully Google can optimize the campaigns page further in this regard. What you can do in the meantime is click the "Filters and views" drop down and hide the graph and any unnecessary columns in hopes of reducing the memory requirements. Then switch back to the old interface and reactivate one or more paused campaigns, then switch to the beta interface again and repeat this process until it crashes to find the limit. Once it crashes, then try the following things if you have not already to free up some additional memory and see if any help the page to load and if so reactivate additional campaigns. 1) Do a soft reboot to reclaim any leaked memory.
Rehan my understanding is that one of the reasons Safari gets kicked out to the home screen is when it runs out of memory. Although we are using the exact same version browser I am using a 3GS which has twice the RAM as a 3G so if it is a memory issue that may explain why it is loading for me - I have 42 active and 31 deleted campaigns showing.
2) Do not run iPod in background.
3) Do not open multiple tabs in Safari.
