You can also choose not to be shown on iPhone type devices if you choose (which is useful if your site just doesn't work well in an iPhone or you don't see that type of traffic converting). I am glad that Google gives this level of control to the advertiser - control is always useful.
The one advantage I can see is for companies with iPhone sites. You can now duplicate your campaign, send your desktop traffic to one site and your iPhone traffic to the iPhone site.
