First off, my apology for dropping off the face of the earth for day or so. It's ironic, but both the soon-to-be GAA and I suddenly had way too much to do and way too little time in which to do it in the past couple of days. As a result, the hoped-for GAA posting debut has been somewhat derailed.

Is it safe to assume this person (GAA? sounds like a government agency, ork ork) is also reading the GA Google Group? I went in there today, and a lot of the issues we're having, I see that other people are having too.

These are interesting points/concerns, and, frankly, I am not sure how things will pan out.

From my own past experience in trying to protect the time required to post here every day (OK, most days), I know that it isn't easy. And, while it might be ideal that GAA closely follow the Analytics Help group on Google Groups, and the more general Analytics forums here on WebmasterWorld, I am reasonably sure there is simply not bandwidth for him to do that, and continue to do his core job. To be clear, posting here will be time spent in addition to his 'day job', not in place of it. ;)

That said, we're certainly thinking about this stuff, and we will be consulting with the GA rep who currently posts on the Google Group, etc.

All of the above, combined with the fact that I an sick enough (physically!) that my co-workers would be delighted if I didn't come to work at all (and I may not, actually, for a bit), I am hoping that GAA will be able to start posting early in the week of February 11th. That's what we're going to shoot for, at any rate.

Thanks to you all for your interest, and we will get GAA rolling soon. In the meantime, I do apologize for the delay.
