"We're performing AdWords site maintenance from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. PST (US), Tuesday, January 9, 2007. This maintenance won't affect your AdWords ads, and you should be able to log in to your account. However, you may not be able to run or retrieve reports, or upload image or video ads during this time."

I read about this at the AdWords blog. Ordinarily there would be a similar message appearing within the AdWords system - not this time!

I was disappointed to get emails from my staff complaining about AdWords running slowly and not being able to run reports - they had no idea why.

It seems that, in this instance, unless you frequent the AdWords blog, you are left in the dark....
