---- Max CPC doesn't work!

Today I got a message from Google that my CPC and Budget are the same amount, which I understand. But it doesn't explain why the ad NEVER showed up once, no clicks had occurred or were counted...

Actually, it does explain it, tryintoohard. If your Daily Budget is the same (or lower) than your Maximum CPC, then your ads will not show. This is designed into the system.

It's a scam, totally. I thought it might help me, like adding links to my site to promote rank (?) I made my store and site thorugh Yahoo, (against my better judgement helping a bloated company get fatter), and had it put in the Directory. I just wanted to get listed, like I did before with a much less important site. That one showed up in the directory AND the search result in one week. My new Site is a business and HAS to be searchable.

I'm not sure if I have interpreted this correctly, but if you mean that you decided to use AdWords as a means to get your site listed in the search results, then it is important to know that there is no connection at all between one and the other.

Being an AdWords advertiser will not help you get listed in the search results, nor will it hurt in any way.

Definitly going to knock of the AdWords account.

I'm pretty sure AdWords could work for you, tryintoohard. It's just a matter of giving yourself some time to come up to speed on how the system works.
