I love Google+ and I think it's the direction they are heading for SEO.

This can only work if a majority of sites adopt G+, otherwise their search index will be glaringly lacking.

Personally I've tried G+ and shut it down over performance and tracking concerns. I dislike having my visitors data-mined without option(read:that javascript loading unused G+ button at the bottom of this page annoys me) and more importantly I dislike that G+ does not offer a static non-javascript loading button option like Twitter and Facebook do.

Will they fix these two issues? Probably not, they are used to gather data.

I think selling out search results to build a social network was a REALLY bad idea. A prettier interface changes nothing.
