I'm not a fan of Facebook but at the moment it seems like the lesser of two evils. It would be nice to see something other than Google or FB as a real alternative. It's no different than Eric Schmidt freaking out when CNet dug up all that info on him years ago and the refusing to talk to them for a year. It's a data collection tool and they probably prefer not to put their personal data into the pool.
