Hello,
I would like to make custom map overlay maps available on my site.

I do much economic research and have seen people implement maps with color shaded regions that are hover-able for interaction and statistics pop up.

The map overlay view in analytics seems to implement exactly what I would like to do, but I cannot find any API.

Any help would be largely appreciated.
