Hi. I want to improve search results for my oscommerce online shop. Right now I use the built in products search of the shopping cart which I have tweaked a little. I have for example added a search suggestion feature. So if a customer types in a product name a dropdown menu shows products suggestions while he types. This is a very useful feature since I sell a lot of foreign products and people have problems when spelling french product names for example.

However the shopping cart search is not very powerful, so I am thinking about adding Custom Search Business Edition as backup search engine. If the internal search engine fails - since it only searches the product database but not the entire website - I want to display Google Search Results.

I checked the Google Custom Search description but I was not able to find out: Is it possible to submit search keywords to google and only display the results?

I want to use my own search box - but display Google results if necessary.
