There are so many factors that removing your name won't achive much.

What is the keyword density on your page compared to theirs?

How many inbound links do they have matching that phrase?

How many internal links do they have using that phrase?

The list does go on. I rank number 1 for a number of top-searched phrases but I do not have those words in the title, description or keyword tags.

The title is important but in the overall view of things it is just one cog in the big wheel of SEO.
