One suggestion I always make when this question comes up is to take a term similar to that Mail_Exchange_Plus search and try it in different flavors on each of the SEs.

[word1_word2_word3]

[word1-word2-word3]

[word1 word2 word 3]

["word1 word2 word3"]

...etc.

There are differences on what is returned by the SEs and it's probably best to experiment and see them for yourself.
