I'll be interested to see how this bank helps invigorate the UK market. UK banks are not best known for their forward thinking in high-tech, imho.
US High Tech Bank Opens Branch In The UK [bbc.co.uk]
Silicon Valley Bank, the US hi-tech bank with $20bn (£13bn) in assets, opened its first UK branch on Monday, offering banking and loan services to the UK tech industry.
Chancellor George Osborne said the move proves "the UK is fast becoming the technology centre of Europe".
The bank will target the technology, life science, private equity and venture capital sectors.
