i was going to suggest using alexa, because that has a facility where you can type in a keyword and get the top sites up

i always thought that alexa wasn't very reliable for medium to low traffic sites, but okay for high traffic sites,

however...

i just tried a test with the word "news", and it came up with amazon.com in position 1, baidu in 2, wordpress in 3, and google (india) in 4.

what is going on with alexa? its totally messed up.

"white house" is even worse -- they've got bing, followed by wordpress, ESPN and google australia
