I envisage a near future of infinite competition with the barriers to entry getting lower and lower as time goes by; opening the flood gates to average Jo and every man and his dog and a passion.

I think there will always be business for highly experienced individuals or agencies to prosper and add value that goes for content writing, running pure online ecommerce sites, running social media campaigns and all other aspects of online marketing. The trick is to keep up with the new innovations and not lag behind!

I've also found that you should never under estimate at how lazy some people can be! They may start out with good intentions to build the best site/campaign etc... But when they understand the hard work that has to go into it they soon give up!
