I used to be a squeaky clean White Hatter and did everything by the SE rules book and along comes Penguin and Panda and a massively successful 15 year old site gets flushed down the toilet.

Yep me to ,only 8 years.

I want to believe a lot of webmasters always tried hard to play by the (Googles) rules. Google changed we did not.

I still believe in doing the right thing but---

Now I wish I knew how to play on the dark side:)
