Any suggestions for killing off any negative impact from the links on these random pages? Obviously can't kill the links themselves, per above. I understand that the better option would be to get more contextually relevant links than bad links, but this directory is dynamically inserting my link onto multiple adult-related, foreign, etc pages per day. It's never ending and I don't have the manpower for organic link building activities to match it. Maybe nothing I can do. Any thoughts?
A site was submitted to a directory service a year or two ago. The directory seems innocent enough on the surface, but it is placing our site/link in all kinds of random, irrelevant pages. I can't kill the directory listing since the operators are unresponsive.
