example = same word, name of the company. The reasons are historic. Initially the company only had the ccTLD, and it was just a brochure site with a few static pages. Then it was redone into a blog. They keep it up date - doing a good job. Then came along the TLD (.com), which became an online store. Now there are two separate sites. So I want to move the blog onto the sub-domain. I'm going to put all proper domain-wide redirects for all pages. Are there any benefits for doing this? Are there are any downsides SE-wise?
We have two sites:
www.example.ccTLD
www.example.TLD
