Brett has verified that my posts come from the Googleplex, and I promise I'm the same person I was when I started. :) This is just something I do when I have free time to answer questions and dispel myths--mostly on weekends, lately. I'd rather just stay "GoogleGuy" because it's less pressure that way. Also, maybe someday we'll hand GoogleGuy duty off to someone else. To me, the reason for GoogleGuy is to have an informal channel where Google can answer questions and communicate both ways with webmasters.

And no, I'm not Brett. :) Although come to think of it, you never see us both in the same room at the same time. ;)
