I can't image Apple would have stuck something like a liquid cooling system in if it did not think it was necessar. The G5 has enough of a cool factor as it is. All adding an unneccessary bell or whistle would only increase product and retail cost, not a plus.

I can tell you first hand the G5s are heating up. I have a Dual 2x G5. Put your hand behind the thing and you can really feel the heating coming out of that thing. I was suprised by how quiet it is though.
