I think I have like 8 external drives now.

Remote backup is good to have too.

I've been VERY happy with dropbox - especially for making the transition and sharing files between the new macs and old pcs. Very nice software that's reasonably priced.

Thanks for the welcome Buckworks - I think you're very correct...my only regret is not switching sooner.
