I was born and raised on a Mac (first used a Mac Plus in 1989). But don't expect it to be all roses: So many things are built in to the Mac and things are so well integrated that you will rarely need to think much about the hardware you're using. You will come to assume that plug-and-play is how the universe ought to work. Sooner or later, your PC friends will mock you for things like not knowing how or why to debug the frajimacator or recalibrate the whatchamacallit, tasks that can usually be done in under half an hour by someone who knows what he's doing. They will wonder about your sanity because you don't even care. They will mock you for assuming that machines could look after their own work. They will not understand the satisfaction to be had in staying focused on the thoughts and deeds that actually put money in your pocket. Just a friendly headsup ... ;)
Welcome to the enlightened, Stuntdubl! :)
