Hi!

I am eyeing to buy an e-commerce script which runs under the frameworks of CakePHP, MySQL, and Ajax, among others.

Once installed on my domain by the script seller, I am planning to customize and maintain it myself. Then, promote and market the site.

When it comes to CakePHP, MySQL, and Ajax, I know it would be a long shot for me since I am new to web development. But the prospects are exciting: I would be able to maintain my own site. :-)

Hence, if I have to become well-grounded on CakePHP, MySQL and Ajax, what would be your recommended step-by-step approach towards learning those frameworks so that I would be able to successfully customize and maintain my site myself?
