Hey Rob, welcome to WW! The easiest way for something like this could be the incorporation of a free blog (e.g. blogger) into the page; or a facebook page. You can do that via an iframe, normal frame, or - even easier - via a simple link. That way you also separate access to the site and the part that is editable for everybody.
