Hi all,
I am wanting to register a .co.uk domain address for a small website I want to start, but have a few questions/worries.

Firstly I have no idea if my website/business will work so dont really want to spend too much to start with. I would only need a few pages and 1 email address. I intend to offer a web based service and was thinking of accepting donations as a form of payment at the start.

Is there any real difference between the big web hosting/domain sites?

It seems i have to put my personal details name address tele no etc when i register a .co.uk domain. How safe is this? do you get people trying to scam etc?

I would be grateful for any help/comments on these questions.
